To start why not take a look at the Invisalign Smile Assessment. Invisalign is designed to treat a wide range of straightening issues, from minor tooth movements to more complex cases. If your smile is not the smile you want, then why not see if Invisalign could work for you.
Invisalign can provide a smooth and efficient solution for many of the concerns our patients have about the alignment of their teeth. Choosing the correct “Invisalign” product is important so that you receive the best treatment for the best price. There are four systems:
i7 – This system is used for very minor irregularities, possibly to correct a post treatment relapse. 7 aligners are provided and treatment will be completed within 3 to 4 months.
Invisalign Lite – 14 aligners are used to correct simple irregularities. Treatment will take approximately 6 months. This is good for lining up your front teeth.
Full Invisalign – Comprehensive treatment of more complex problems can be corrected. This system can achieve the correction of much more complex problems to achieve the result you want. There is no limit to the number of aligners or the time that treatment may take.
Invisalign Teen – This is similar to Full Invisalign but has special features to allow the teenage dentition to develop.
Following treatment it is important to keep your teeth straight and retainers are the only way to achieve this. This is true for all types of orthodontic treatment. Align Technology have created “Vivera” retainers, which match the shape and feel of the aligners used to move your teeth, for a more comfortable fit. They are generated from impressions of your teeth and you are supplied with three sets.
While this appliance is very simple and comfortable for our patients it takes a deep and knowledgeable understanding of orthodontic tooth movement to make it work. This goes into the pre-treatment planning phase, known as the clincheck. Your orthodontist will demonstrate this to you as part of the process to plan your treatment. It will allow you to visualise the redicted result we aim to achieve.
